I like the saying that “if you love what you do you never work a day in your life” and I am very proud of what I do. Not only am I passionate about helping people to work through their issues but I feel very privileged to be let into a person’s most private feelings. I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Hypnotherapist in Dunstable. I specialise in Bereavement Counselling and I’m lucky enough to be able to volunteer for Cruse Bedfordshire, helping people to work through the trauma of losing a loved one. While is this a completely natural experience to go through it is very painful and there is nothing wrong with needing that extra support to talk things through.

I volunteer at Bedford Open Door which is a counselling service for 13 to 25 year olds in Bedford, this is in complete contrast to my other volunteering as it is working with young adults through issues that hold them back. I enjoy all counselling but this I find one of the most rewarding.

I have an advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and every year I attend regular training days to further my knowledge and expand my skills, this enables me to offer the best possible service I can. I am a proud member of the National Counselling Society and I always work within their ethical frame work. I hope to achieve my BACP accreditation within the next few years.

I also have Diplomas in Hypnotherapy, EFT and EMDR which are fantastic standalone therapies however when used in conjunction with Counselling are extremely powerful. I appear on the Counselling Directory, Hypnotherapy Directory, The National Hypnotherapy Society and General Hypnotherapy Register. I am also a licensee for Hypno-Band.
