Qualifications and Accreditation
When looking for a new therapist it can be really overwhelming to understand what all of it means. I have put together this page to help you make your decision on if I am the right therapist for you.
I am an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and I work within their ethical frame work and policies. I am also a member of UKATA and work within their ethical framework.
I have an advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, a level 6 clinical supervision certificate and I am currently working toward a Masters level 7 CTA qualification within Transactional Analysis.
Every year I attend regular training days to further my knowledge and expand my skills; this enables me to offer the best possible service I can. These are specialist trainings which include: Infant Loss Training, Mental Health Familiarisation, Advanced Psychotherapy Training, Specialist Trauma Training, Depression and Anxiety, Emotional Freedom Technique, Hypnotherapy, Bereavement Training, Level 6 Certificate in working with Children and Young People and a Level 6 Certificate in Clinical Supervision to name a few.
I continue to develop professionally by attending a minimum of 30 hours per year of professional development.
